He has made significant contributions across renowned organizations including Cadbury’s, Unilever, Perfetti Van Melle, Coca-Cola, Amazon, and Dr Reddy’s. He presently holds the role of Chief Sustainability Officer at TVS Motor Company.
Thakur’s expertise encompasses ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), sustainability governance, and Safety, Health & Environment management systems. He is credited with pioneering frameworks such as the ‘My Sustainability Index,’ ‘My Safety Index,’ and ‘My Health Index,’ which have become global benchmarks.
His achievements have garnered notable accolades, including the “Rising Star of Safety” from the National Safety Council-US in 2013, and being honored as the “Ultimate Innovator” by Amazon’s worldwide EHS in 2018.
