Our Safety Professional Awards recognizes the efforts made by organisations and individuals from around the world in achieving high standards of safety and environmental performance in their work. Moreover, the registration and application submission is free of cost.
Criteria –Â Covering MMMME factors (Man,machine,material,method,environment)
Document preparation,maintenance and review.
Four Categories:
a. Mechanical and Electrical
b. Biological and Environment
c. MedicalÂ
d. Structure Designing and Engineering
Systematic approach, following all the three techniques religiously
(Document reference, onsite inspection and Consultation)
Positive safety behavior, complying to all HSE requirements, promoting positive safety culture, giving priority to health and safety at first both personal and professional
Level of Participation in non-assigned tasks and responsibilities, Dedication and Time allocation for work completion with safety in mind.
Giving realistic recommendations for both temporary and long term requirements.
Number of new recommendation provided, Suggested Health and Safety Recommendation doesn’t affect the production
Considering the cost of employer in each health and safety recommendations, Possess the skill of calculating the investment of workplace health and safety requirements and how the organization is benefited through the investment.
Possess the skill to drive the shop floor workers and line managers, allocating more time for onsite H & S management, showing the presence from the start to end of each activity.
Individual who gives safety as only priority and ensuring production is done without fulfilling the safety requirement. NO compromises with any level of organization including top management when it comes health and safety.
Understanding National and international legal requirements, up to date with law, dealing with legal representatives, maintaining legal compliance documents, Able to perform legal arguments including Regulations, Acts, Codes, Years, Articles and Section details.
Systematic approach, Collecting factual information(Evidence collection) using observation, consultation and document reference, Knowledge on Root cause analysis tools, Analyzing the causes using all possible Root cause analysis tool includes Fault tree analysis, Event tree analysis, ISHIKAWA diagram analysis, 5 WHYs analysis, Failure mode and Effects analysis, Pareto Analysis etc.
Possess the skill to develop effective emergency plan, regularly monitoring and reviewing the emergency arrangements, able to calibrate Emergency equipment (Detectors, alarm, fire fighting system etc.), Able to manage the Mock drill, recording the findings and taking action for the Mock drill findings, Able to establish contact with local service.
Possess skill of demonstrating all the Mandatory and Task specific PPEs including Harness, SCBA, Full body suit with Breathing Apparatus etc.Â
Possess skill about scaffolding types, scaffold parts,Design,Quality of materials, Load calculations,weather risk perception, overhead powerline risk perception and inspection procedures, managing the scaffolders & team
